The diplomas are conferred by Stony Brook University’s College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS) and its Department of Technology and Society in New York.

SBU is one of the highest rated programs in the State University of New York (SUNY) system. By choosing SUNY Korea, you are joining Stony Brook, considered a flagship university of the 64 campuses in the public system comprising the State University of New York. SUNY is the largest public system in the U.S., with more than 450,000 students from 160 nations,30,000 faculty members, and over 2.5 million alumni residing in New York State and throughout the world. Applications to SUNY Korea programs are accepted based upon the standards and requirements of Stony Brook University.

Our students have access to resources on two continents and with an excitingly diverse student body from around the world. Our undergraduate plan of study includes the opportunity to live near Incheon's airport in the "smart city" of Songdo as well as one year of study at Stony Brook University in New York.

Students spending their last year at Stony Brook University in New York may be eligible for the Optional Practical Training (OPT) status to stay longer in the United States and gain practical experience in a work environment related to their course of study.
